Jhen Kordela is a versatile artist who brings storytelling to life in every brushstroke and design. With a background as a news reporter, Jhen brings a unique perspective to the world of art, blending narrative depth with visual expression. Her current work is in Mixed media, often blending collage with vintage papers, acrylics, typography and shape language. Drawing inspiration from the wonders of nature, the richness of diverse cultures and the depth of human emotion, Jhen’s work resonates with a spirit of gratitude and optimism.

Having earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from San Diego State University and a scholarship to Oxford University, she is currently pursuing a Painting Studies Certificate through Rhode island School of Design Extended Studies.

She is a member of the Newport Artist Collective and the Providence Art Club.
